Stories Behind the Photographs
Every photograph has a story. Sometimes it begins with a place I’ve travelled to photograph. Sometimes it’s unexpected weather, a fleeting moment of light, or simply being in the right place at the right time.

Arriving in Santorini just after a storm, I barely had time to put down the luggage before the sky began to transform. I grabbed my camera and tripod and rushed outside, capturing an extraordinary few minutes of colour and light over the island.
Fire in the Sky — Santorini, Greece
Driving through the Highlands on the road to Skye, the weather was constantly changing and the light becoming increasingly difficult to ignore. Eventually I had to pull over. What began as a brief stop beside the A82 produced one of my favourite photographs from the journey.
Highland Glow — Scottish Highlands
After several unsuccessful early-morning trips to Mount Coot-tha hoping to photograph Brisbane beneath the fog, everything finally came together. As the sun rose above the city, the mist began to glow, revealing the skyline through layers of golden light.
